Would appreciate more articles on public health care and accountibility. The
explosive combination of equity and ecology makes public health an issue that
strips the veils of ideology from globalist free-market fundamentalism and reveals
an increasingly unhealthy reality. It raises fundamental questions. What is the
price of perpetual consumer indulgence? A fractured world where some die of overeating
while the rest starve? Highspeed growth that makes us all sick and crazy? Mass
petrochemical poisoning that may be undermining the basis of life? A health system
that is not a common trust but where only those who can afford it may buy a cure?
Surely there are healthier worlds. Let's try to build one. All the best to your
editorial team.

Are
you interested in the Himalayan
area? Do you enjoy beautiful
films? Then visit the Himalaya
Film Festival in the Griffioen,
the cultural centre of the
Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam
on 6 and 7 November 2004. For
the second time in succession
the Himalaya Archief Nederland
offers you a fascinating selection
of approximately 45 films and
documentaries of high quality.
The festival offers you an
excellent opportunity to enjoy
spectacular images as well
as an introduction to everyday
life in the area and the lesser-known
sides of the Himalayas. For
those interested in putting
the footage in a wider perspective
experts and filmmakers give
lectures. The programme has
been divided into various sessions
of 2 or 3 films. More information
will soon be available at:

Uff,
another so called
free press website
They
all start with moral values
and focus. To make a difference.
And then what happens? Does
the money aspect corrupt the
likes of you or the power or
maybe divine political intervention?
Lets wait and watch what happens
to you guys! I wish you all
the best. So far so good though.

Finally!
Environmental Concerns - Himachal Forests
Someone
has woken up and realised the
need to write about and tackle
issues on environment, forest
conservation and BE GOOD to
the world we live in. Noise
pollution, traffic congestion,
over-construction. When will
it make sense to do something
about this? Why don't you meet
up with the authorities and
figure out stuff. Someone should.
Its high time. Waiting to hear
more.

Good
Going!
I
was just surfing the net and
came across your web-site.
It is a good effort of info
and articles on viewpoints
not covered in the conventional
media. Your articles deserves
to be more publicised, especially
among the majority worldwide
who are fed up with media manipulation
by the multi-nationals.

Congrats.
It
happens every four years. The

9/11.
The US is
the only country ever to be
condemed before the UN for
international terrorism. The
crimes are endless, the suffering
and death incomparable; let
us remember these are deeds
committed by supposed leaders,
not the people. As such, action
against the peoples of any
country (the majority) because
of the behaviour of leaders
(the minority) is wrong. Just
a message on your site for
viewers. Dont let 9/11 happen
in your country.
Peace.

Please do not glorify a rapist's death. The media seems to have made a hero out

It
is good to know that Himachal
is taking a keen interest in
the cultivation of the 'Kiwi

we can enjoy fresh Indian fruit

Good use of the English language. Would like to see more on alternative views.

Saw your link on google and decided to check out. Was bored anyways. I must confess
I was surprised. For a change, an indian news site with good design and layout...!
The pictures of your State are very pretty. How come the site is himachal based
and managed from Shimla and New Delhi?

Cart
Road Congestion:
Help fix the problem...
This cart road is a very dangerous for pedestrians. It is much more heavily used
than ever before; There are trucks, cars and vans either using the street or
parking on it. The government should make shimla one way...Someone should do
something about it.

Dear
Editor
I stumbled upon your web site this morning -- very nice. I would like to subscribe
to your monthly digest.. This is a good way to keep abreast of the more lesser
heard facts coverage and geographical knowledge about Himachal Pradesh. Do you
plan tours and trips to the interiors of Himachal to collect your marerial and
visuals? Good photography indeed ! We all should start a campaign to say NO to
more of the print media that pollutes the environment with wasted newspapers
(85% advertising) or commercial-filled television news programs. Thanks, and
keep up the great work.
Best
regards,

Dear Editor. Your site is really nice but takes a l o n g time to open!!! Most

it heavy on graphics or heavy with the burden of honest coverage !!! Take care!
